What it costs
A standard picture uses 1 credit. A high-detail picture uses 3 credits. A piece from the Shop adds its own price, shown on the piece. The total is always shown before you confirm.

- What is Modefai?
- Modefai is an online fitting room. You upload a photo of yourself, choose a piece of clothing, a hairstyle or footwear, and AI makes a picture of you wearing it, so you can see a look before you buy it or have it made.
- What can I try on?
- Dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, shorts, hairstyles and footwear. You can change several at once, for example a top with a bottom, and also change the pose, the backdrop colour, and the material, colour and length of a garment.
- How much does it cost?
- You pay as you go with credits, and there is no subscription. A standard picture uses 1 credit and a high-detail picture uses 3 credits. A piece from the Shop adds its own small price. Credit packs start at $0.50. Setting up a look before you sign in is free.
- Which photo gives the best result?
- A professional or studio-style photo with even lighting, a plain background, and you facing the camera with your whole outfit visible. Casual selfies, mirror photos, group photos and dark or blurry photos give poor results.
- How accurate are the pictures?
- Looks are made by AI and are an illustration, not a promise. The fit, colour, fabric and details of the real piece can differ from the picture. Use a look to judge style, not size: check the seller's size guide before you buy.
- What happens to my photos?
- The photos you upload are deleted 7 days after upload. Your finished looks are kept so you can come back to them, and you can download any of them. Photos must show one adult, fully clothed, and must be yours to use.
- Can I buy the clothes I try on?
- Pieces in the Shop belong to real designers and brands. Where the designer has given a link, your finished look has a button that takes you to where the real piece is sold. Modefai does not sell the clothes itself.
- I am a designer. Can I list my pieces?
- Yes. Create an account and apply to sell in the Shop. Our team reviews every application and every piece before it goes live.
